Praise 93.3 & 790 WTSK salutes Pastor Larry D. Williams of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of West Greene in Eutaw as our Tuscaloosa Pastor of the Week. Williams is a educator, leader, pastor and realtor who has given of himself to serve Tuscaloosa and West Alabama.

Pastor Larry DeVan Williams was born in Sweetwater, Alabama. He came to Tuscaloosa to attend Stillman College. Williams received a B.S. in Biology at Stillman College. He also received a Master in Math Education from Alabama State University. Pastor Williams also attended the University of Alabama where he received his Administration Certificate.

Williams retired from Lawson State after spending 44 years in education. He is currently working as a Visiting Professor at Stillman College. He has pastored Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in West Greene, Alabama for 25 years.  Williams also taught at Miles College in Birmingham. 

On top of his education and training, he has bought and done fix and flips and rental for over 30 years. He recently made a decision to become a realtor in order to represent buyer and sellers in real estate transactions. He wants to help everyone get into a good house at a good price. He is currently a real estate agent with RE101 in Tuscaloosa.
