Tuscaloosa’s Natalie Cheatum Releases New Gospel Music
Tuscaloosa native Natalie, Nicole Fluker Cheatum was born and raised in Demopolis Alabama and moved to Tuscaloosa at the age of 12 she started singing at an early age with her mom in Demopolis and continued singing, where she from the group with her and her brother calling them the Fluker Family. Natalie saw with her mom for over 15 years spreading the gospel ministering songs to many people she saw in our church choir for many years at the West Highland Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1999. She was in the school choir from 9th to 12th grade. She’s worked in the medical field for over 20 years doing what she loves to do and that is helping others.
Cheatum is a wife happily married to her high school sweetheart for over 23 years and they have four beautiful children. She’s the oldest of two younger brothers, and she loves spending time with her family. About 15 years ago, she started writing songs while experiencing different challenges in life, and she wanted to share about the goodness of God and encourage brothers and sisters in Christ. In 2022, she finally decided to go into the studio to put together music that she wrote with the help of her husband, her son and her baby brother.

In 2022, Cheatum released her first cd in titled grateful on March 18, 2022. The single talks about the gratefulness of the God in her life and she is grateful for all the support that she gathered from her CD. Natalie even has masks and shirts with grateful on them. Cheatum's latest single "On The Main Line" was released April 9, 2023, to all major music retailers.
She was always honored and grateful when asked to sing songs to bless others. Cheatum's goal is to continue making music to bless others and reach those who will listen.
