The narcotic agents in Tuscaloosa are having a field day at the University of Alabama. According to al.com narcotic agents seized more than 80 grams of marijuana, nearly 150 prescription Xanax pills and $5,800 in cash from four alleged drug dealers in University of Alabama dorms last week.

West Alabama Narcotics Task Force searched two dorm rooms in each, the Riverside Community and the Presidential Village freshman dorm from April 16-23.

Tuscaloosa Police Department spokesman for the task force, Sgt. Brent Blankley said this was not a part of a large scale operation on the University of Alabama’s campus. It was a case of one arrest leading to another from information gathered from confidential informants. Read more at al.com
