Kids Eat Free On Sundays At Moe’s In Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Is it me or is it always hard trying to figure out dinner ideas? Having children only makes the situation worse financially.
I've got some good news for all parents in Tuscaloosa. Your kids can get Sunday dinner for free in West Alabama. Moe's at 2312 McFarland Blvd E in Tuscaloosa serves free food to all kids every Sunday. Can you imagine how much money this is going to save parents around Tuscaloosa?
When I heard about this, I had to take a trip down to Moe's to ask a few questions. The last thing I want to do is to tell parents they can take their kids to eat free and it's not true or no longer an active deal. I ended up speaking with the restaurant General manager Rhonda Weatherspoon.
I asked her what prompted them to give away free food on Sundays. She let me know that they understand the pandemic may have brought about hard times for families especially financially. They wanted to "take a day out of the week to help" those families who may need it. This is their way of assisting the community.
I love what they're doing. This isn't the only thing Moe's on McFarland does for the community. They do a book bag drive, take part in charitable events like Toys for Tots, assist schools with fundraising, and more.
Every time I eat at this Moe's location I'm always greeted with a smile and a pleasant employee that says "Welcome to Moe's!!" They always end up helping me decide what to get. I'm always the indecisive person in line. Lol!
This Sunday, take your kids over to Moe's on McFarland for a free meal.
