Tuscaloosa Pastor of the Week: Pastor Linda Lee
Pastor Linda Lee is our Tuscaloosa pastor of the week. She pastors alongside her husband Leon Lee at Church of Judah International in Cottondale, Alabama.
Linda is self-employed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Life and Relationship Strategist. She is also a minister, author, inspirational speaker and television producer of her own talk show. She received her Master Degree from The University of Alabama in Human Development and Family Studies and her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Organizational Management from Stillman College Management Institute.
She began a women’s ministry called “Strong Women Armed Together” (S.W.A.T.) in 1999. The first initial meeting was held in her home and since then the ministry has grown to having meetings at churches and community facilities. God has given her wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in helping women find and fulfill their God given purpose.
In 2004 she produced and hosted a show called “Issues of Life” that aired on Tuscaloosa local television station and surrounding counties for two years that dealt with the everyday issues of life. She also created and taught a bible study for Stillman College students called “Hour of Power” that was held in one of their Residence Hall in 2005. Also, in 2005 she conducted a bible study geared toward women issues that was held at Hannah Home for battered and abused Women. Currently, conduct meetings at a local facility in Albert City.
She has been featured in Tuscaloosa Magazine Fall 2004 issues as one of six most intriguing people. The article described her as a spiritual healer. She was also covered in The Net Work Directory 2005.
Linda along with her husband Apostle Leon Lee founded the Church of Judah International Ministries in January 2000. Linda is also the church administrator and an ordained minister. She assists her husband in the ministry of the word and other important facets of the ministry. Together they are the proud parents of Landis, Lance, and Lexah.
Her motto is Acts 24:16 (Amplified Version) Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense toward God and toward men.
