Pastor Thomas is a young man on fire and full of passion for teaching people. Rock City Church Tuscaloosa holds services in the Bryant Conference Center and McDonald Hughes Community Center. Rock City Tuscaloosa is an offshoot of Rock City Church in Birmingham under Pastor Mike Jr.
Hollis Thomas is a family man, thinker, communicator, and pastor.
Hollis Thomas is privileged to lead one of the fastest growing churches in Tuscaloosa County — Rock City Church Tuscaloosa.
He is affectionately known as Pastor Hollis or “PHT” by the members and friends of Rock City. He is known for his ability to present the truth of God’s Word in a practical and inspiring way that appeals to people of all ages, races and backgrounds.
Pastor Hollis believes in embracing radical and revolutionary methods to spread the Gospel to a new generation. He is passionate about equipping people to become what God has called them to be.
Pastor Hollis studied Public Relations at The Miles College, where he also joined the illustrious ranks of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., through the Gamma Kappa Chapter.
While at Miles, he met and later married his college sweetheart and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Elise. Together the two have a beautiful daughter: Ava Marie.
