Six Dead In Murder Homicide

Six people are dead in an apparent murder-suicide, after a long standoff outside a Virginia home Wednesday night. Without identifying the victims, police said all of the victims were related.

WTRK TV reported, "Negotiations took place for several hours before officers finally entered the home and discovered five people dead, including the armed man."

Chesapeake Police officer Kelly O'Sullivan told WAVY TV investigators believe the armed person killed the family members prior to officers arriving on the scene.
