Cancer sucks, right? And it’s not one of those “if you can’t beat it, join it” type things.  Most of us who’ve been affected by the disease, directly or indirectly, desire to see it eradicated.  For that to happen, there must be research and funding for that.

Most of us cannot afford to donate massive amounts of money, but we can definitely let our smaller amounts create a unified huge push to funding the search for the cure.

The Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center will host the Breast Cancer Beatdown 2019 at the University Church of Christ on Saturday, September 28, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Though it is free to attend, donations of $10 include a tshirt.

Organizers for the event plan to celebrate breast cancer survivors, inform attendees about early detection and support the DCH Breast Fund. The event will include POUND® Cardio Jam Sessions, Walking the indoor track, Guest Speaker Coach Dana Duckworth, STRETCH from UA Rec Center, Kids Area, Photo Booth and Survivor Stories.

Individuals and teams are encouraged to register.  Click here for more information.
