Alabama Gospel Artist Jalissa Rogers Grant Releases “Higher”

Jalisa Rogers Grant is a  songwriter, artist, praise dancer, model, 28 year old from Montgomery, Alabama. She feel in love with music at the age of 4  and remembers growing up as a P.K (Preachers Kid) singing and praise dancing was natural gift that she adored.

She works as a full time nurse during the day at UAB Internal Medicine and writing music is what I likes doing most. She wrote her first song at the age of 13 years old “Lord You’re Marvelous”  along with many other songs” Energy”, and Lord I Need You”. At The age of 18 ,Grant could always see and sense that she was a lot different from a lot of my peers. God started preparing her for her destiny at a early age. Her father the Late Bishop Donnie Rogers (Miami ,FL), EL Shaddai International Ministries and Mother Pastor Carolyn Hudson Yancey (Montgomery, AL) traveled all over the World Preaching the Gospel as she followed. She gained a lot under her parents ministry. At the age of 21 her father passed and I took over El Shaddai Ministry and created a praise and worship band ” El Shaddai Worshippers and El Shaddai Praise Dance  Ministry. El Shaddai Worshippers are a group of Young Adults that SOLD OUT for Christ.

At the age of 24 she wrote “Higher” at the age of 28 and  released her new single “Higher” on all digital outlets.  She enjoys traveling and worshiping all over the world and spending with her husband and beautiful daughter. Her Favorite Scripture is “I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES AND HIS PRAISES SHALL CONTINUALLY BE IN MY MOUTH" Psalms 34:1.
