Months ago, I asked for input on the needs of the Tuscaloosa metro area.  The most response came from parents who wanted more places to take their children. Since then, Chuck E. Cheese reopened in Midtown Village and Monkey Joe's opened on 14th Street. There was also a request for city-wide recycling, which has been implemented. What's missing?

I can tell you that topping my list is the need for sidewalks.  I would love to keep from swerving into another lane to avoid hitting a person walking along the shoulder of a two-lane road.  I'd probably walk more places too.

But what about you? What would you like to see come to Tuscaloosa/Northport? What are some of your community concerns that you'd like city leaders to address?
