Tuscaloosa Pastor of the Week: Pastor Theron J. Hawkins

Pastor Theron J. Hawkins is Married to Tina Shontel Hawkins of Baltimore, Maryland. They have a total of 3 boys; Walter, Justin and Jordan as well as 5 dogs. Theron was born in Tuscaloosa Al to the Late Rev. Theron Hawkins who passed July 3 2020 & Sharon Ann Fowler Hawkins. Theron currently serves as the pastor of Next Level Church of Tuscaloosa and church planting pastor of Connection Church of Fayette, AL. He also serves as the church planting catalyst for the Alabama State Board of Missions/ Southern Baptist Convention for the West Alabama Region.

Theron is also a veteran of the United States Army and has served abroad in the 82nd Airborne division Ft Bragg NC.Theron has been involved in church planting for 15 years reaching those that are far from Jesus. He has been able to be a part of 8 total new churches being formed, 3 Haitian works , 1 Guatemalan work, 1 African American work,3 Multi Ethnic works. Theron also serves other church planters and pastor across Alabama through a coaching network through Alabama Baptist.His formal Education consist of Fayetteville Technical College in Building Construction Technology, Liberty University Bachelor in Biblical Studies, and Beaulah Heights University.
