Tuscaloosa Pastor of the Week: Bishop Joe Latham
Praise 93.3. & 790 WTSK salutes Bishop Joe L. Latham of the A Fresh Anointing Church of God as our Tuscaloosa Pastor of the Week. Bishop Latham and his family lead hundreds of people in word and worship weekly through his local church, TV ministry and outreach.
Bishop Joe L. Latham Sr, is a Tuscaloosa, AL native and born to Pastor Alice & Joe Latham. He is the founding Pastor of A Fresh Anointing Church of God. Brother Latham has made it a mission to use all of the gifts that God has given him, as well as his life's lessons to bring Reconciliation, Restoration, and healing to the body of Christ. He does this by being an example to those who look to him and by preaching and teaching the word of God.
Bishop Latham started the church in the southside area of Tuscaloosa and the church was eventually moved to a new sanctuary to make way for the Tuscaloosa Fire Department. The church has services broadcast on Sunday mornings locally on WVUA 23. The church moved to its present location off of Jug Factory Road and has grown and thrived with various ministries under his leadership.
The church will celebrate this week for Good Friday Service Friday April 2, 2021 at 7pm at A Fresh Anointing Church of God located at 5440 Jug Factory Rd. Tuscaloosa, Alabama right next to the original Dreamland BBQ. The guest evangelist will be Pastor Hazel Savage of the Macedonia House of Refuge.
Brother Latham Sr. and his wife Chandra are the proud parents of three lovely daughters: Jessica O'neal (Kuorum), Adrian, Allissa. Also they are the proud parents of two handsome sons: Joe Jr. and Emmanuel, and six grandchildren. (Deanthony, Jordan, Jacob, Nehemiah, Kaci- Morgan, and Ava-Grace).
