Imagine this scenario in your life. You move from Alabama to Texas as this lady did, and you are simply doing a few chores around your home. That's when the Biblical prophecy-type stuff hits you from above.
When I moved back to Alabama in 2017, I started to hear stories from friends about snakes in their houses. Snakes in their bathrooms. Snakes in their TOILETS! IT HAS HAUNTED ME FOR SIX YEARS AND COUNTING....
That damage was caused by a member of the pit viper "family" (not my family) of snakes, this was known as a "fer-de-lance". The victim? A producer on the show "Naked & Afraid" while scouting a location they planned to use on the hit show. A few years back, right here in Alabama, a snake bite caused a man to experience paralysis. Down right scary!
I didn't need another reason to detest snakes. My friend travels the state of Alabama for his job, and documents all of the crazy encounters he's had with the beasts that slither below us He's seen them in gas pumps, toilets (those photos coming soon) and in a rental car.
Isn't too cold for snakes in Alabama? What is the deal with these slithering things? A friend of mine travels the state of Alabama for his job, and he documents every snake encounter he has...the really disturbing thing is that he has so many encounters.
Living in Alabama, snake stories are an everyday kind of thing. I read one just yesterday, right here, on this very website! Now, maybe the craziest video I have ever watched in my lifetime. A woman, finds a snake in her ear.
Something is going on with the snake population in Alabama. It seems we are hearing or seeing a crazy snake story every other day! In fact, recently reports on this fact have been released.
For example, bites are UP almost 50% in Alabama in 2022.
I'm not a fan. This story involves a friend of mine in Tuscaloosa, with a farm. A beautiful farm with many animals. My friend, B.J. Perkins, runs Tuscaloosa's platinum-rated car dealership, Townsend Nissan. A fantastic place, that I have done business with multiple times.
