Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle Sentenced To 15-Years-8 Months In Prison

Jared Fogle was sentenced to 15 years, eight months in prison. Jared pleaded guilty to various child pornography and prostitution charges in August. His punishment also includes a $175.000 fine.

The District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt issued her decision Thursday afternoon going beyond the 12-and-a-half years the prosecution had recommended.

In a statement to the court Fogle said:

I so regret that I let so many of you down, I want to redeem my life. I want to become a good, decent person. I want to rebuild my life.

The doctor who examined Fogle prior to his plea deal found that Fogle suffered from alcohol abuse and dependency, mild pedophilia and hypersexuality.
