Shooting of 17-Year-Old Teen in Salt Lake City

A Salt Lake City teen was shot while wielding a Broomstick. Salt Lake police are withholding information, however the family identified the victim. Law enforcement has released scarce facts in connection with the shooting of the teen by police on this past Saturday night. As a result of this police action, the streets located in the Rio Grande District of Salt Lake City became a battleground of protest.

According to a local media outlet, the victim is currently in a coma after being shot three times. It is reported that the victim was wielding a broomstick during an altercation at the time of his shooting.
