Senior Master Sgt. Bobby Taylor was nominated for recognition as one of our Hometown Hero by his daughter Jessica. She wanted her father to know that his selflessness in helping others without demanding anything in return didn't go unnoticed:
He is more than just a dad, he's my hero. Without him I wouldn't have had the chance to go to the University of Alabama or experience half of the privileges I've had in my life. I'm thankful every day for being blessed with such a supportive and caring father. He really is the inspiration that brings out the 'hero' in everyone.
On behalf of your daughter, your friends, neighbors and community, thank you Senior Master Sgt. Taylor and may God bless you.
