After talking up Cooper Bateman and Blake Barnett al week, Nick Saban ended giving the majority of the snaps to true freshman Jalen Hurts on Saturday night and he took full advantage of the opportunity.

The Texas native shined under the pressure of primetime television and a top 20 opponent. Hurts finished the game two touchdowns passing and two touchdowns rushing to lead Alabama to a 52-6 victory over Southern Cal.
