So let's get this out of the way first: Yes we are all so unbelievably excited about Alabama Basketball returning to the city of champions. And that first game played?

Let's just say if you aren't getting those good feelings about a special season, then you might want to get the pulse you have checked.

The Alabama Crimson Tide Men's Basketball Team is defending both their regular season and SEC Tournament titles. And they'll definitely need our help in rattling the opponent at all times of any game.

So the first game attendance was terrific, to say the least, but here's the thing...one game can't define how the rest of the season will go. We all know the ebbs and flows of college basketball and how it is an emotional roller coaster.

Heck, I know it all too well. As a former MDB member who attended a ton of Alabama Basketball games, there's been plenty of times where I felt like we've run a marathon when all I did was stand still.

I was in attendance for this last-second heroic shot:

If you look closer you can probably see me strike some kind of weird pose before the shot went it.

Regardless of anything, there's one point that I need to get across here, and it's a pretty simple one. We need to keep filling up Coleman Coliseum with the Tide faithful every game.

Not only does it look great on TV, but the atmosphere also is just great to feel. Any time a big play happens that loud reaction is felt in person and on the broadcast.

So, the season has just begun folks, but we got to keep the energy up all season. Let's get to it!
