Man Kills Wife and Self; Children Witness

Three children are now without parents after their father killed their mother and then himself.

AL.com reports that Huntsville police responded to a murder-suicide outside Central North Alabama Health Services Monday. Twenty-six-year-old Heather Nicole Green was parked in a vehicle with their three children when her husband 28-year-old Jesse Daniel Green approached the vehicle and shot her in the head and then turned the gun on himself. He is said to have shot himself in the head as well.

Sadly, this occurred around 4:00 p.m., which means it was in broad daylight, but even more alarming is the fact that the couple's three children were witnesses. So far, their ages have not been revealed. Hopefully, they're young enough that the memory of this incident will eventually fade away.
