Suspected Purse Thief Arrested

According to Tuscaloosa Police, 18-year-old Dianni DeShawn Scott was arrested Sunday for Theft of Property 1st Degree. 

Scott is accused of snatching a purse in the 1800 Block of E McFarland Blvd and the suspect was seen fleeing area on foot. He was located at a business in the 400 Block of E 15th St, where he was found hiding in the bathroom.

He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a $15,000.00 bond.
