Tyson Recalls Popular Chicken Nuggets In Alabama

Many families have freezers loaded with Tyson Foods chicken products.

However, one of those popular chicken items is now under a very important recall in Alabama.

A little under 30,000 pounds of Tyson chicken patties are under recall because of the possibility of  "foreign matter contamination" according to the USDA.

The chicken was produced sometime in September according to the FDA.

The product was produced by Tyson Foods in Berryville.

Check your packages and look for TYSON FULLY COOKED FUN NUGGETS BREADED SHAPED CHICKEN PATTIES.

The states impacted include Alabama, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Ohio, California and Wisconsin.

Tyson released a statement on Saturday saying that no other products are affected.
