Those are NOT heroes. Talented individuals absolutely.
A hero is someone that has sacrificed so much, and sometimes their life, to serve our country.
A few weeks ago, on Veterans Day, a Tuscaloosa family heard about a local restaurant honoring veterans.
This story really hit me hard. These things keep happening in Alabama. This story is bizarre. It sounds like a movie script but unfortunately it is absolutely real. Her name is Megan Green and she is a mother of three. She's been missing since Saturday.
Much like the Garrett Walker story, in my opinion, this has so many strange and unanswered questions.
Here's the latest attempt from former Alabama and NFL superstar Henry Ruggs III and his attorneys to keep him out of jail. You get what you pay for, as they say. Clearly, Henry Ruggs, who spent a few years living here in Tuscaloosa, is paying them plenty of money.
Ruggs lawyers are arguing that turning over medical records are a violation of "doctor-patient privilege".
OK now, raise your hand if you hate to save money! Yeah, I don't see you (or anyone) raising their hand.
According to rent.com, these are the best, or cheapest cities to live in throughout the state of Alabama. You might be surprised where some cities rank and it could influence future moves.
Hollywood likes to make fun of Alabama. They have for decades. However, in recent years they can't get enough of filming in cities like Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Mobile.
Bruce Willis has been in Tuscaloosa as well as Birmingham working on a major motion picture. We have all heard about Atlanta becoming "Hollywood South" but it looks like Hollywood just prefers the SOUTH.
Here we go AGAIN! Now, this fight is still causing heartburn in 2021. Is this the way families in Tuscaloosa, Alabama are handling the holidays? According to a study out today, 3 in 5 Americans, are telling unvaccinated family members that they are not welcome at this years festivities.
As a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, we are so blessed. Sometimes we take our incredibly fortunate situation for granted. I'm talkin about having the GOAT on our sideline every week in the fall. COACH NICK SABAN. On his radio show, Hey Coach, every Thursday night on 95.3 The Bear, he gives us plenty of insight on how the season is going (and will go in the future).
I really love reporting stories like this one.
Police officers have thousands and thousands of interactions each day across Tuscaloosa and the USA.
So often, these men and women do something great for us citizens. Most of the time, these great stories are never reported.
