The storms that rolled through almost all of Alabama last evening knocked out power for thousands in the Tuscaloosa area.

At this time, we have not received any reports of any significant injuries in the region.

According to poweroutage.us, Alabama has a little over 60,000 customers without power.

Tuscaloosa County currently has 5,721 customers who are still without power as of this morning.

Bibb County has just under 400 customers without power.

Pickens County has a little over 300 customers without power and Jefferson County has similar numbers to Tuscaloosa with 5,751 customers experiencing an outage.

Alabama Power tells us that they have a total of just over 44,000 customers impacted across the state as of this morning.

As expected, Alabama Power is working as fast as it can to restore services to all customers.
