New Social Media Trend Hits Alabama And Police Warn Public
OK, I will admit. I enjoy a funny prank as much as the next person.

I have a couple of rules, though, when it comes to pranks, and that is, they shouldn’t be mean or hurtful, and they should not cause any property damage.
Now, in this case, I’m still getting a grasp on the prank and whether or not it violates those standards.
It all comes from a TikTok trend or challenge (doesn’t everything these days?), and it’s now made its way into Alabama.
It’s been an issue in Prattville, Alabama, in recent days.
It has led to the police department sending out a notice through their social media accounts, making it clear they don’t find it funny.

The prank centers around someone pretending to be a transformative artist and making it appear that way. They are “relieving themselves on objects around town”.
There are tons of examples on TikTok that are NOT REALLY SAFE FOR WORK, so I am not including them.
However, it's a pretty juvenile prank, involving the use of a water bottle and your back turned as you "relieve yourself."
The police department in Prattville, Alabama, wants it known that, regardless of it being real or a water bottle, it could get someone in trouble and lead to an arrest.
They also want to make it clear that following any Internet or social media trends online can have serious consequences and be harmful, as well as in violation of local laws.
