Now, we need to warn you about something happening in parts of Alabama, and we all need to be careful about how we use our data and credit cards.

One of the new scams involves fuel pumps in Alabama. I'm sure thieves are doing this in other states, but we know that thieves have been busted in Alabama trying to steal credit card info using this trick.

The fact is, you need to make sure you thoroughly check the gas pump before you tap your credit cards against the pump.

Several other Alabama social media videos show that it’s already been used at a couple of gas stations in Alabama over the last few days.

These scammers are counting on you being in a big hurry and not paying attention to what is happening around you.

 

The fact is that it is what they are always counting on, and it works so many times for these thieves.

Be alert and be aware of what you are doing with your credit card information before you do it!
Once you’ve done it, it’s already too late, so make sure you check everything around the pump.
