This Saturday, before the kickoff of the Golden Flake A-Day Spring Football Game, the Paul W. Bryant Museum will be have several events to get fans excited for the spring game.

Two authors who’ve both written about the Crimson Tide will be at the museum for signings and meet-and-greets. David Battles, author of “Yea, Alabama!” will be at the museum from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. “Yea, Alabama” is an in-depth historical series chronicling the University of Alabama’s rich history. Tandra Layton, author of the children’s book, “Goodnight Crimson Tide”, which touches on the traditions at The Capstone as well as encouraging kids in academic pursuits, also will be at the museum on Saturday.

“A-Day is always a big day for the Bryant Museum,” said Ken Gaddy, the Director of Bryant Museum. “Everyone should come out and enjoy the day with us.”

The Bryant Museum will open for guests at 8 a.m. Saturday morning and close at 5 p.m. Admission for the Paul W. Bryant Museum is $2 for adults, and $1 for senior citizens (60 and up) and children (6-17). A ticket will need to be purchased in order to tour the museum as well as meet with the authors. The walking tours are free of charge.
