Become A CNA With Legacy School of Healthcare

It's Black Business Friday, and this week we're highlighting Legacy School of Healthcare based in West Alabama.

Legacy School of Healthcare focuses on training community members to become certified nurse aides (CNA). Their classes are offered in a traditional classroom setting as well as online. The online courses are self-paced so students can learn at the rate they're comfortable with and log in anywhere on a mobile device to complete the coursework. I think that is so awesome. I've always believed that everyone doesn't learn at the same pace, so this option is something I'd highly recommend. Their CNA classes certify students in the State of Alabama and the certification also transfers to other states.

I know when you hear about organizations that work in these types of industries, you want to make sure they're reputable and accredited. No one wants to pay for classes to be certified and it not be recognized by the state or other reputable organizations. Well according to their site, Legacy School of Healthcare's CNA program is approved by the Alabama Department of Public Health,  & the Alabama Community College System Private School License Division. They even offer CPR classes that are approved by the American Heart Association. They're all the way legit and the past students agree! Summer, a past student gave this review of Legacy School of Healthcare.

"Loved my experience with Legacy school of Healthcare! Super easy, you just have to put in the time & effort. Mrs. Tye is super sweet & any questions no matter the time of day she is there to answer"

Owner and RN Instructor Titisha Melton spoke on how important she feels it is to "have those who look like us advocating and speaking for up for us" in the healthcare industry. Melton also mentioned how she loves working with students "who want to better their lives while making a difference in the lives of others."
