Alabama leads all-time with a 6-2 record, which dates back to the first meeting at the 1942 Cotton Bowl. The Aggies two victories in the series came at the 1968 Cotton Bowl and the 2012 regular season game with Johnny Manziel at quarterback. Alabama's largest win over a ranked opponent, 59-0, happened in this series two years ago.

Last Meeting: 2015 featured another matchup of top-10 teams when undefeated Texas A&M hosted Alabama in College Station. Running back Derrick Henry posted a career-high 236 yards and two touchdowns while the defense returned three interceptions for touchdowns. Alabama finished off a 41-23 victory and didn't lose the rest of the season.

Last Week: Alabama made a statement with a 49-10 win at No. 9 Tennessee, which was the most lopsided game in the history of the rivalry. Quarterback Jalen Hurts led a rushing attack that rolled up 438 yards against the Vols while the defense and special teams both scored touchdowns in the win.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M enjoyed a bye week. The Aggies got a break after four straight SEC wins. The last time they played was a 45-38 overtime victory against Tennessee.
