2022 Clinic of Champions Announced in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Alabama Football is one of the most prolific football programs in the nation. So it wouldn't surprise anyone that many would like to learn how they do things in Tuscaloosa so that they could implement these strategies in their own programs.
It was announced on Tuesday, March 8th that the Clinic of Champions would be held in Alabama:
Alabama's entire football coaching staff will be involved in the clinic. This clinic will also differ from the Nick Saban Football Camp, as the clinic will be only for high school coaches.
Also participating in the clinic are coaches such as Dave Aranda, head coach of the Baylor Bears. Baylor is coming off a 12 win season, capped off by a win in the Sugar Bowl over Ole Miss.
Mike Vrabel, head coach of the Tennessee Titans is also scheduled to talk to high school head coaches. Vrabel has led the Titans to the playoffs three times in his four-year tenure overseeing the Titans.
Greg McMahon will also speak to coaches. McMahon is a recently retired special teams coach with spent time with the New Orleans Saints and, more recently, LSU.
Attending coaches will also get to watch Alabama football spring practice twice during the clinic.
In the past, this clinic has featured other prolific coaches such as Mike Gundy from Oklahoma State, Matt Rhule, the current head coach of the Carolina Panthers, and even hall of fame coach Jimmy Johnson have attended.
