The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide needed touchdowns from all three phases of the game to pull out a five-point win at Ole Miss on Saturday.

One of the two defensive touchdowns came from defensive lineman Jonathan Allen, and it turned out to be the game-winner. The senior caught an errant pass from quarterback Chad Kelly after Alabama linebacker Tim Williams nearly got the sack and would outrun the Rebels down the sideline for the score.

The interception went for 75 total yards and gave Alabama a 48-30 lead with just over five minutes left in the game. The would ultimately need all of those points after Ole Miss scored twice in eight seconds to make it a five point game.

The defense also scored a touchdown on a fumble return by Da'Ron Payne in the third quarter. Alabama now has four defensive scores through the first three games.
