Walmart and Morgan Reach Settlement

Remember the accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in which actor-comedian Tracy Morgan was severely injured?  Well, Walmart and Tracy Morgan have announced a settlement of the lawsuit concerning the accident.

In a press release from Black PR Wire, Walmart and Benedict P. Morelli, attorney for Morgan, Ardley Fuqua, and Jeffrey Millea announced they’d reached a settlement agreement.  This deal ends a lawsuit against Walmart, which was file after the men were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on June 7, 2014.  The terms and conditions of the settlement remain confidential.

Morgan is quoted as saying, “Walmart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families. I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably.” Full Story.
