Updated List of Road Closures in Tuscaloosa County
As much of Alabama deals with a State of Emergency on Christmas night following heavy rains and flooding, Tuscaloosa County still has a number of road closures heading into the weekend.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office updated the areas that are dealing with the worst flooding late Friday night.
Governor Robert Bentley released this statement earlier tonight.
“Many parts of Alabama have experienced excessive rainfall and flooding is a major concern,” Governor Robert Bentley said. “By issuing a State of Emergency, I have directed all state agencies to take necessary actions to be prepared to respond to the anticipated flooding across Alabama. We will actively monitor the flooding, and are prepared to respond to any requests for assistance.”
