Tuscaloosa VA To Host Homelessness Conference

Here's a chance for social workers to earn Continuing Education Credits from the Tuscaloosa VA! September 17, the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center will host a Good Samaritan's Challenge Conference in the Sports Atrium of Building 137 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The conference will combine a Homeless Summit, Community Homeless Assessment Local Education & Networking Group meeting, and  a Landlord Meeting. Its goal is to initiate collaboration between faith-based and community organizations and agencies that assist the homeless or those at risk for homelessness in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas.
