Today Is The Last day To Apply For An Absentee Ballot
The July Primary Runoff election is only days away and the time to apply for an absentee ballot is now!
With COVID-19 still being very real, many aren't comfortable showing up to polling locations in person to vote. Personally, I don't blame them. Yes, I want to exercise my right to vote, but I also want to make sure I'm protecting my health and my family's health. The last thing I want to do is to bring home a virus to my wife and 5-month old baby. For the last few months, we've been making sure you knew of other options available if you're like me and didn't want to risk getting infected with COVID-19. Alabama Secretary of State John H. Merrill is making sure Alabamians know how to apply for an absentee ballot. He even extended the time for us to apply for an absentee ballot. Today is the last day to apply. If you don't know how to apply see the press release below from Secretary of State John H. Merrill, on how to apply for an absentee ballot.
