Everyone gets on me because of my early Christmas present shopping habit. I don’t see anything wrong with it. I’m not a fan of rushing.

Here is an excellent opportunity to get your shopping done early. Please be sure to look into “Purchase with a Purpose” for those holiday gifts. What is purchase with a purpose? It’s a “unique holiday shopping event, 100% of the proceeds support local and global missions.” I love the sound of that.

The event will occur on November 12th and 13th from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Northport Baptist Church located at 1004 Main Avenue in Northport. “Admission is free. Complimentary Pastor's Coffee and Pioneer 61 Coffee will be served,” noted on the Facebook Event Page.

Here is some heartwarming news, “to date, $175,000 has been generated for missions through your Christmas shopping!” Isn’t that amazing? I love the idea of supporting those that understand the need to help others.

Listen, I’ve gone up and down the Facebook Event page. There are tons of extraordinary gifts.

Charcuterie boards from Tunisia!

Pearl jewelry made in China and giving the proceeds to other IMB missionaries

Gorgeous saris are upcycled into these beautiful bags by women overcoming trafficking in India.

See you at the Northport Baptist Church on November 12th and 13th – I can’t wait to see what unique gifts (for myself) I find.
