These days, news travels fast. Social media sites like Twitter and Facebook make it even easier to reach thousands in a matter of seconds.

The crazy weather was rampant over the recent Memorial Day holiday weekend with tornadoes touching down in Texas, Mississippi and Mexico, a flash flood emergency has been declared for parts of Houston, Texas and water spouts seemed to pop up everywhere.

Of course, all of these occurrences were well documented.
