Marigold Is A Unique Cat That Could Use a Great New Home
I can admit that I've never seen an animal with two different color eyes. It's really true when they say all animals are unique. Every week we team up with the Humane Society of West Alabama to bring you a new pet up for adoption. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Marigold.
Marigold is an approximately 4-year old petite cat with one blue eye and one green eye. She has been through a lot in her short life, including having three litters of kittens in one year, prior to us rescuing her. Marigold's adopters must have a fully screened-in porch for her to live on because she does not like being inside for too long and she is not to be an outdoor cat. She absolutely adores our "catio" because she gets to watch all the wildlife in our backyard from a safe distance. She does not like to be held but loves to be pet and to play with feather wand toys. When Marigold is bored, she does nip people to get them to play, so a home without children would be best for her.
Marigold is up-to-date on vaccinations, negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, microchipped, and spayed. This beautiful girl needs someone who will love her for all her quirks and not just her looks. If you're interested in giving her a home with all the great things in life she deserves, please set up an appointment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 205-554-0011 (leave a message). All adopters are required to be pre-approved by filling out the adoption application on our website.
