As the new school year approaches, Impact Nation Fellowship Church welcomes families from Alberta and the Greater Tuscaloosa area to its annual Back-to-School Bash. The event will be on Friday, August 7, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church's campus, 1110 26th Ave. E., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.

The free community event reflects the church’s commitment to helping students start the semester with confidence by providing essential school supplies and offering support to local families as they prepare for the first day of class.

"At Impact Nation, we are committed to removing barriers that prevent students from reaching their full potential," said Romel Gibson, Executive Pastor of Impact Nation. "With several educators, school administrators, and a thriving youth ministry connected to our church, we understand the importance of education and the role preparation plays in student success."

Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive early, as school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities last. In addition to receiving supplies, families and community members are invited to come together, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

"This is only a small portion of what we hope to accomplish," said Mesha Lanier, Outreach Pastor at Impact Nation. "True outreach isn't about being seen. It's about seeing the needs of others and responding with the heart of Jesus. When we serve without expecting recognition or anything in return, we become the hands and feet of Christ, sharing His love one act of kindness at a time."
