Courtney Morgan Headlines UA Alumni Kickoff Event
The Tuscaloosa County Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association will host its annual fall kickoff event on Tuesday, August 12, at 5:30 p.m. at Tuscaloosa River Market located at 1900 Jack Warner Parkway, Tuscaloosa.
Event entry and dinner tickets are priced at $30. Tickets for children aged 8 to 12 are $15, and children under seven can attend for free. Attendance is open to everyone, and membership in a local chapter is not required.
Autographed sports memorabilia and various silent auction items will be available for bidding.
According to the press release, “Courtney Morgan, general manager of the Alabama Football team, will be the keynote speaker.”
“Our Chapter is looking forward to hosting Courtney Morgan and hearing about the team’s recruitment efforts and preparations for the upcoming season,” said Anna Claire Toxey, president of the Tuscaloosa County Chapter.
The family-friendly event will include a pep rally, door prizes, and guest speakers.
“The kickoff is always our largest event of the year and brings together UA alumni and supporters from across Tuscaloosa County and beyond,” Toxey said. “We encourage all Bama fans to join us for an exciting evening of entertainment before football season begins.”
