Nelo would lead the North Dakota Bison with an average of over 17 points a game and over nine rebounds per game. After spending three seasons with North Dakota State Nelson said his goodbyes via his Instagram to NDCU.

Nelson visited both Arkansas and Alabama with the Capstone being Nelson’s choice. Nelson will fill Bama’s needs in the front court with Noah Clowney and Charles Bediako entering the NBA Draft pool.
