moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

CANCELED Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 1 a.m. for the following counties:  for Autauga AL, Bibb AL, Blount AL, Calhoun AL, Chambers AL, Cherokee AL, Chilton AL, Clay AL, Cleburne AL, Coosa AL, Dallas AL, Elmore AL, Etowah AL, Fayette AL, Greene AL, Hale AL, Jefferson AL, Lamar AL, Lee AL, Marengo AL, Marion AL, Perry AL, Pickens AL, Randolph AL, Shelby AL, St. Clair AL, Sumter AL, Talladega AL, Tallapoosa AL, Tuscaloosa AL, Walker AL, Winston AL

A good portion of Alabama, including the Townsquare Media Coverage Area that the counties of Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, and Walker, could see scattered showers and thunderstorms later today.

“Environmental conditions will be suitable for some strong to severe storms,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
