The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Alabama.

Sucarnoochee River At Livingston affecting Sumter County.

Friday afternoon to early Monday morning.

Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Marengo, Sumter and Hale Counties.

From Friday evening until further notice.

Tombigbee River At Gainesville Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Marengo and Sumter Counties.

From Friday morning to Monday afternoon.

Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Pickens and Sumter Counties.

From Thursday morning to Monday morning.

To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here.
