Jalen Milroe Hints at Return Amidst Alabama Coaching Search
Following the sudden retirement of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, many players are expected to leave the program, pending the hiring of the next head football coach at the University of Alabama.
One Tide recruit has already opted to decommit, as 5-star Ryan Williams swiftly announced that he plans to reopen his recruiting following the retirement of Saban.
Well, it seems the Tide's starting quarterback will stay in Tuscaloosa for his redshirt Junior season. Milroe tweeted out early Thursday evening, "Can't wait to see y'all at camp in 2 weeks! Roll Tide!" in his first tweet since the announcement.
The Tide signal-caller threw for 2,834 yards and 23 touchdowns, adding 531 yards and 12 touchdowns through 13 games this season, a crucial part of Alabama's college football playoff appearance. Milore finished 6th in Heisman voting.
With the potential massive turnover within the Alabama football program looming, consistency at the quarterback position will be critical for the new age of Alabama football.
