A man was arrested in Florida for stealing a BMW after attempting to purchase it with a food stamp debit card.

Florida law enforcement officials indicate that a 36-yeear-old man was arrested and charged with grand theft auto. The man was turned away from  the auto dealership after attempting to purchase a $60,000 car using his EBT card and a credit card.

Deputies say the suspect returned the next night and stole the car along with keys to 60 other vehicles. The suspect was later found with the car and the keys after he ran out of gas because he did not have money to fill the tank.
