Gospel Legend John P. Kee Coming to Tuscaloosa

John P. Kee is one of the most famous gospel artists and choir directors in the gospel music industry in the last 30 years. In the 1980s, Kee formed a community choir in Charlotte known as the New Life Community Choir or "NLCC". Over time, the choir grew in popularity, and continued to travel regionally.
In 1990, Kee founded the Victory in Praise Music and Arts Seminar Mass Choir, or "V.I.P." to fellowship with various ministries, songwriters, musicians and choir directors from across the United States.
In 2007, John P. Kee was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame, and he has won numerous awards and have collaborated with several gospel artists from Kirk Franklin to Travis Greene.
His purpose is to minister to and in the community. He officially founded the New Life Fellowship Center where he became and remains the Senior Pastor. He was ordained in his mid-twenties as a minister. In 1995, while ministering in Ohio, he received a prophetic vision. It was for a Fellowship Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Recently, Gospel music legend John P. Kee has created the ultimate tribute project to celebrate the musical legacy of the iconic Rance Allen who with his brothers (Tom and Steve) were groundbreaking cutting-edge Gospel artists from the late 1960s up to his sudden death in 2020. Allen recorded for STAX/Gospel Truth, Capitol Records, Bellmark, and finally Tyscot Records, over the course of their career that gave the world spiritual classics such as “Ain’t No Need in Crying” and “Miracle Worker.” The new project is available everywhere now as a tribute to Rance Allen,
