Fred Hammonds Joins Public Figures Who Have COVID-19
Gospel music has many famous legends and one musical genius and legend from the group Commissioned, Fred Hammond is in a class of his own. However, Fred Hammond is the latest gospel celebrity to contract COVID-19.
Gospel recording artist Fred Hammond announced via Instagram in a video that he and members of his family have become the latest victims of the COVID-19 virus.
Hammond confirmed that he is on day five of the virus after a hard battle last weekend and is unsure if the worst is over yet. In the United States, the recent numbers of COVID-19 cases have skyrocketed to over 11 million cases with a upsurge in recent weeks as winter approaches.
Fred Hammond admitted that he became to relaxed and did not wear his mask a couple of times. He urged people to wear masks at all times. The CDC encourages everyone to wear masks, wash hands, use hand sanitizer, and stay 6 feet apart while obeying your local social distancing ordinances.
In other related news, Fred Hammond is set to be recognized by the industry. Multiple Stellar Awards and Grammy® Award-winner and producer Fred Hammond will receive the Gospel Music Icon Award.
