‘Cupcake’ McKinney’s Remains Believed to be Found
In the saddest of reports, authorities are believed to have discovered the remains of Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney, who was abducted from a birthday party on Saturday, October 12.
A search for the toddler has been in effect since that time, and numerous tips regarding her disappearance have been investigated. Remains believed to be the child's were found in a dumpster. Full story.
Suspects in the case are 39-year-old Patrick Stallworth and 29-yeat-old Derick Irisha Brown, who also goes by the name Quentesa Jackson. Sources say Brown remains held without bond after a motion was filed to revoke her bond in a 2018 case in which she is accused of abducting her three children from DHR custody. Meanwhile, Stallworth was arrested with seven counts of child porn after police found images on his cell phone during the investigation into the abduction of Cupcake. He was released on a $500,000 bond but was taken back into custody Tuesday night.
Such a horrible turnout for a case where none of the information released or the videos on social media seemed to make sense.
Our condolences go to McKinney's family, and we are all sure to hold our own children a bit tighter in the days to come.
