The Alabama softball wrapped up its ninth trip to the Women's College World Series on Tuesday, coming up just short of winning the school's second national championship. The Crimson Tide lost two games to Florida in the finals to finish runner-up. 

It was still a successful season for Alabama, which won 50 games and grabbed the regular season SEC Championship. The ladies returned to Tuscaloosa Wednesday morning to fans young and old cheering them on.
