Alabama Now Has More COVID-19 Cases

ABC 33 40 is reporting "The three most recent confirmed patients are located in Elmore County, Limestone County and Tuscaloosa County."

As of 7:45 pm on March 13,2020

According to the Alabama Public Health Twitter page, "Alabama has five confirmed cases."  The location of the three additional cases has not been released at this time.

As of 5:53 pm on March 13,2020

Earlier today, the Alabama Department of Public Health made us aware that they “received its first positive test result for a case of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.”  This person did travel outside of Alabama and is isolation as well in Montgomery County.  Now, according to ABC 33 40, the "Alabama Public Health Director Dr. Scott Harris announced the state's second confirmed COVID-19 as a person in Jefferson County who recently traveled internationally. That person is in self-quarantine for two weeks." Also, there are three more pending cases in the state; this could bring our total of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases to five.
