You Now Can Drop Off Items At The Tuscaloosa Public Library

You know I love me some Tuscaloosa Public Library.  I always have a good time over there, and the folks are always so nice.  As you know, we have not been able to go to the public library due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Here is some good news; the Tuscaloosa Public library will be remaining closed for just a few more weeks until May 31, 2020.  Yay, I’m so excited about this because the Tuscaloosa Public Library always has something exciting going on.  They did mention that they would monitor and evaluate as the COVID-19 pandemic develops.  I appreciate the TPL thinking about our safety during this time.

Also, Tuscaloosa Public Library is accepting your library materials.  Even though they have been closed, according to the Tuscaloosa Public Library website, they are “accepting and checking in library materials at the Main Library.  When you are safely able to do so, please return your items through the book drop at the Main Library only.  We are implementing safety measures to keep both our staff and our patrons safe during this process.  No fines will be charged during the period that the library is closed.”

In the meantime, according to the Tuscaloosa Public Library website, The Top Six resources for library-related apps are “OverDrive, Meet Libby, Lynda, Freegal Music, True Flix, and Rocket Languages.”  Also, the Tuscaloosa Public Library suggests “Scholastic, Tumble Books, and Kanopy” for watch and learn at home resources.
